Shipping, Return and Cancellation Policies



Customers are responsible for all freight charges related to their purchases, and agree to those charges as an additional cost when making their order. An estimate will be provided to the customer and in some cases, may be billed at later time separate from their original order. Actual freight charges ultimately depends upon: weight of items purchased, type of carrier utilized and distance from the particular warehouse being shipped from to the end destination—the address to which you want your order shipped. Our intention is to offer you, our customer, the best quality products for the most economical prices. This is how we do it.



All orders will be shipped directly from the manufacturer to you, no stops in between, no middleman, no additional opportunities for mishandling or damage to occur. Different manufacturers, however, utilize different carriers for the various weights and sizes of products being shipped. Fed Ex Ground, Fed Ex Air, truck freight, DHL, US Mail and UPS are all viable, reliable carriers used by my manufacturers. Your order will be shipped, however, using the fastest, safest and most reliable method possible.


If your furniture order is shipped truck freight, this usually involves the driver bringing the merchandise to the back of the truck, but not to your door. When your truck freight service calls to alert you of their estimated delivery date and time, be sure to ask if they will be delivering the goods to the back of the truck, to the door, or inside the home. This will enable you to get additional help carrying your furniture inside. You can also ask to see if the carrier offers this additional service, perhaps for a separate fee. No delivery service, however, will help you unpack or assemble your purchased goods.


Actual delivery times will depend on the local delivery schedule of the carrier. Generally, items shipped ground delivery will arrive within 2-3 weeks from the time the order was placed. If items are back-ordered by the manufacturer, delivery can be delayed an additional 1-4 weeks. Typically, signatures are not required for ground delivery. If you are not at home to accept delivery, the merchandise will be left if it is safe to do so. Merchandise will not be left, however, if a signature is required. Deliveries cannot be made to a P.O. Box.


If you place a large order with a variety of sizes and weights, your order may arrive via different carriers and time schedules.



Please inspect all packages AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.  If any box is damaged, or if there is any reason for you to be concerned about possible damage, please write “PRODUCT DAMAGED” clearly on the receipt the delivery agent asks you to sign, usually the bill of lading. Damaged items noted in this fashion at the time of delivery will be replaced at no charge, along with the freight costs associated with sending the replacement. Concealed damage noted after delivery (not marked on the bill of lading) will be replaced free of charge, but you will be charged for the freight costs associated with sending the replacement.


If your Child Craft order is received and appears to be damaged due to mishandling during shipment, refuse the shipment at the time of delivery. If the item was delivered to your home while you were away and it was damaged in transit, please contact the delivering carrier immediately, then call us at 480-474-4326 to let us know about the problem. We will alert Child Craft, then tell you how to proceed.



We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you can return unused products within 7 days of delivery, but only if we have been notified first and we have provided you with a return authorization number and appropriate instructions. Please note that without prior approval, returned merchandise will not be accepted. It will be your responsibility to repackage the merchandise to avoid any damage during return shipping. If returned merchandise is received damaged, you will not receive reimbursement. We will credit your account for the original purchase price, less any shipping costs incurred, after the manufacturer has received the returned merchandise . All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which will be subtracted from your reimbursement.



All our manufacturers guarantee their merchandise against manufacturer defects. In the case of a manufacturer defect, the manufacturers themselves reserve the right to replace or repair the item as they see fit. Call us immediately for return and notification instructions. If you insist on the return of an item with a minor defect, without giving the manufacturer the opportunity to repair the defect if appropriate, you will be charged a 10% restocking fee by the manufacturer, along with freight charges incurred to return the item.



Once an order has been placed with the manufacturer, it is extremely difficult to cancel, especially if the shipping process has already begun. Orders that are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to shipment will incur freight charges.



We have purposefully chosen only the most reputable manufacturers and the best quality merchandise to offer you on HappyBabyCribs.com. Even with the best suppliers, however, an occasional defect will occur, or a shipment might be damaged in transit. This does not happen very often, thank heavens, but should it happen to you, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
